NeoSmile securely holds the probe in place for reliable readings. The probe cover is designed for long-lasting adhesion without the use of natural rubber latex or plasticizer DEHP, and the reflective foil cover helps protect the probe from ambient and radiant heat in an incubator. Its cute smiley face design makes NeoSmile ideal for neonatal and pediatric use.

Directions for Use

Preparation

Step-1: Clean and dry skin per hospital protocol.
Note: It is important for skin to be as clean and dry as possible. NeoSmile will not adhere properly to moist skin or hair. Oils and lotions will also adversely affect adhesion.
DO NOT USE ALCOHOL.

Application

Step-1: Before removing liner, warm NeoSmile in hands for 60 seconds. May also be held under radiant or heel warmer for 10 to 15 seconds.
Step-2: Peel and discard liner. Place NeoSmile over probe and skin and hold in place for 60 seconds to ensure proper adhesion.

Removal:

Step-1: Replace NeoSmile every 5 days or per hospital protocol, whichever is sooner.
Step-2: Saturate NeoSmile with water or saline.
Step-3: Slowly peel NeoSmile away from skin as you swab with water or saline.

INDICATIONS FOR USE

The NeoSmile is intended to cover and secure a temperature probe.

CAUTIONS & WARNINGS

Discontinue immediately if skin irritation occurs.
NeoSmile will not adhere properly to moist skin or hair. Oils and lotions will also adversely affect adhesion.
Do not use alcohol to clean skin prior to application.
Do not reuse or reapply.
Single patient use only.
